I received a bunch of e-mails on this one, mostly from people who said they had been following this Blog, but had not made any comments on it. I just learned that for every 100 people who may read a Blog post, only one will make a comment, at least a comment that other people can see. That seems to be the case here, it seems. One person, who wishes to remain in the shadows, for now, asked about how do you know what to dump and what to keep. If I had a clear cut answer to that question, I could retire today. Here are some suggestions however.

1. Have a plan, work your plan. Have an Agenda, drive your Agenda, both mean the same thing. You are fighting an uphill battle if you do not have an Agenda, in writing, established, before you start your day. Without a written Agenda, the chances of you making the right decisions, all day long, and knowing what to keep and what to dump is as close to impossible as you are going to get. The purpose of establishing, in writing, a game plan or Agenda, is you have least spent some time, away from the fray and spent some quality time on trying to get  your ship in order. This process will at least mean that you are aware of the importance of the process and are working towards getting your time, energy and productivity in line. This is the first crucial step in gaining back control of your time and ultimately your life.

2. Start to divide your day into segments of time. You need to spend time on what I call housekeeping activities, phone calls, correspondence, emails, interaction meetings, things that need to be done so the whole workday does not grind to a halt. These are urgent matters, but not important ones. Important tasks are ones the directly move your forward, things that make a difference, short and long term.

Other segments or blocks of time MUST be reserved for what I call the ” work “, tasks that have to be done, so your goals and priorities are moved closer to completion. These tasks are important, they directly effect your ability to become successful, happy and contented, what else is there ?

3. Start each day and understand that there is just too much on your plate, there really is not enough time to do all the things you would like to do. You have to start to move some things off your plate, permanently. This is where your Power Living life list , PLLL, comes in handy. See more, www.powerempowerment.com. Without some form of keeping track of all of the things you would like to do, you are in a constant state of disorganization and most importantly, a constant state of stress and unhappiness. no one likes  to think of themselves as a failure, incompetent, not capable of accomplishing the things they want to do, this state is not a good one to be in.

4. Without getting to a place where you are back in charge, back in control, you are sentencing yourself to be in a constant state of frustration and unhappiness. How does that sound to you? Hopefully not too familiar. Good news, some simple steps can help you get in control and help you start to put things into priority.

Some fast power steps to help you decide what should stay, and what should go.

A. Start to organize all of the things you think you would like to do. Having a better handle on this area of your life helps to enable you to see what you want to do and then you can start to see what you CAN do.

B. Start to clear the decks, start to move activities, tasks, goals that are not feasible for now, move them to the back burner, get them off your radar screen. Moving something to the back burner allows you to free up your focus and attention for immediate tasks, ones that you can do now. It’’s not unlike clearing up space on your computer, with a clearer workspace in front of your, you are able to work faster, smarter and get more done.

Lastly, Reduce the number of projects you are tackling, I can guarantee you that you have far too many projects on the go, to do any of them justice. Reduce the number of ongoing projects to no more than 2, finish what you have on your plate now, before adding anything new.

Look at the next few posts, will be posting some really informative information on Goal Setting, hope you enjoy the posts.

You have to Learn How to Dump Even Really Good Stuff !!!

I knew this long before there was an Internet, yes, there was a time when there was no Internet! Learning this lesson about having to dump really good stuff is a hard one, but when you get the hang of it, it will have a really huge impact on your ability to get more of the important things done in your life.

We are always in a struggle between doing what we want to do, what we have to do and determining the difference between these two opposing factions. I say opposing factions because what we need to do and what we have to do are not the same thing. Answering emails is a task that should be done, is sometimes important to do, but it does not fall into the category of something we need to do. Having to do something means that in order to function, in order to get by on a daily basis, it should be done at some point. On the other hand, something that I NEED to do is something that if it is not done, I will not prosper, will not succeed, will not be able to move my Agenda forward. Two entirely different priorities with entirely different consequences if they are not done.

It is this constant struggle for our time and attention, this tug of war that sets the battlefield for who will win ans who will lose. Its interesting that in this war, there is only one combatant, ourselves, we are doing battle with ourselves over which part of our own agenda will win out. Using our example of answering our email, is it important, or is it something that we do in place of actually moving our agenda forward with important activities that drive our success and happiness. One thing we need to do, all of us, is to be brutally honest with ourselves when it comes to assessing what we do and how well we do it.

This personal assesmnet is the heart of our ability to move ourselves forward and to improve and enrich our lives. Separating the good stuff, the stuff that must be done in order for us to succeed, from other stuff that is really good as well, BUT not as critical separates the winners from the losers. before you get on your high horse and send me a pissy email about me calling other people winners and losers, ALWAYS remember that is is you, the individualthat is the one who attaches the tags, not me. We have to be able to be honest with ourselves and be sure that we judge ourselves as critically as we can stand, our happiness and success depends upon it.

Which brings me to the purpose of this post. Get use to the fact that you are going to have to dump and delete armfuls of REALLY powerful, good, information and data, if you hope to succeed. That may sound strange but its vitally true. The Internet will absolutely devour you, if you let it. Never before in the history of mankind has there been so much knowledge available to us as there is now. I have heard that every 16 minutes, there is more new data put on the Internet, than ALL of the data known to mankind, up to that point. Whether that is 100% true of not is not really important, the point is, the sheer amount of knowledge and data that is available to us now is staggering.

This staggering amount of data will devour you, if you let it. Not only is the shear volume of data insurmountable, but the volume of RELEVANT data is also staggering. The crux of this post is this. forget trying to slog your way through even the pertinent and relevant data, that is also a task that will sink you. We must find a way that we prioritize and separate the best from the best, and then sort again, to try to end up with a manageable do able list of activities left for us to do.

Trying to sort through web sites that are relevant to what you want to do can be a task in it’s self. You only have 2 hours available to perform a certain job, you can’t allow all of that time to be spent sorting through 20 or 30 web sites that may all be important and on topic for you, do so will eat up all of your production time, leaving no time left to actually perform your work. This scenario is a classic one for Internet Based Businesses and people, we were doing work related activities, but not the one that was important to our success.

Start to keep an eye on your self, as i try to do to myself, and be on the alert for really important relevant stuff that we have to toss, in order to be successful. It sounds strange, but its a lesson we have to learn if we want to get as much of the REALLY important stuff done as possible.

Time is Something You Invest, Do It Wisely

People reading this post are doing so because they want to make money, that is why you probably came to this site. Making money is not easy, if it was, as the saying goes, if it was, we all would be rich!! What separates the rich people. from the rest of the people, the rest meaning people who may not be rich, but are not happy with their current financial status. Based on this assumption, I will break people into two groups, rich people who are happy, and the rest of us, unhappy to varying degrees, based on our insufficient funds. How do we bridge the gap?, how do we make more or enough money to become happier?

You have to invest your time not only in activities that DIRECTLY relate to making money, but into activities that will enable you to be in a better position to take advantage of opportunities to make money when they arise. Make sense?

This concept is what separates the winners from the losers. In the game of commerce, the way to separate the winners from the losers is money, money is the score card, money is how we keep score. I have been working with people for many years on this concept, regardless of age, sex, creed, nationality, pretty much everyone, except the winners, has a hard time coming to grips with the reality that it’s not the actual business you are involved in that makes the difference, it’s the person that is involved that makes the difference.

Give me two people, the same business opportunity, let me work with one of them for 30 days, and them let them go at it. Watch the person that I have worked with make substantial strides in operating the business, not because that person is any smarter or more adapt at the business, but simply because that person will be able to focus on what needs  to be done, and will be organized and set up to drive the agenda that has to be driven to be successful. ( yes, I know, a massive run on sentence, but I was on a roll)

My last few posts have been about being a passenger and driving your own agenda. These concepts are what I know will enable you to be one of two things, perhaps both, either become  more successful than you are, or wildly more successful than you are. I do not get into the realm of telling you that you will  make more money than you thought possible , I leave  that to the scammers, what I will tell you that you will unquestionably be more successful than you are now, with the open ended possibility of really becoming successful based on your wants and desires. I can be safe in saying that you will certainly become more successful that you are now because we all can improve and better ourselves, regardless of where we are on the financial food chain.

We all need to invest our time, a non renewable resource, more wisely. I have known this for more than 35 plus years, and I still need to reinforce this on a daily basis. That should tell you something of the importance of this concept to your success, financially as well as emotionally. This was brought home to me, again, as it has many times before when I started to evaluate my personal performance in the last half of this year. I made some errors in judgement, got off target,I lost focus, got too spread out, and quite simply, did not do well in a number of areas of my business. I made what I call rookie mistakes, mistakes that I knew better not to make, but none the less, made a whole pile of them. What to do?

To start with, I INVESTED TIME in evaluating what happened, looking at what went wrong, then started the process of righting the wrongs. I broke down what I did, took it apart, looked at it carefully, then started to build it up from the ground up, properly this time. I had to stop the forward progress, flawed as it was, took the time, precious time, to make sure that the same mistakes would not be made in the coming year.

I have a new plan, a new focus, laid out PRIORITIES,activities and a new Agenda ready to go. That takes time and it takes a specific mental approach to be able to put the brakes on and turn the bus around and set off on a new direction.

It has taken me 35 plus years to learn this lesson and I still need to be reminded of it on a regular basis. To learn more, visit www.powerempowerment.com

The Core of Internet Home Businesses Training

Internet Home Business Ideas
www.learn2earn2.com

As we head into a New Year, most people normally think back over the last year and then think of ways to improve on the coming year. This should be part of your normal routine, on a daily basis, but more about that in another post. I want to announce what I will be doing over the next few weeks to help some of us get ready for 2010. Starting a new Internet Business Opportunity will be a large undertaking, one that will tax your time and energy, you need to be sure that you have as many tools at your disposable as possible. Proper goal setting is one of those valuable tools you will need.

Goal setting is an area of our personal lives, as well as our business lives that we do not spend as much time on as we should. When you consider the impact this process has, and the extent that what and how we decide our goals have on us, it’s really a huge over sight on most peoples part.

I will be spending the next 3 weeks dealing on this critically important part of being successful in our personal lives, as well as with our Internet Business Opportunities. Here are a few pointers that will help you frame the steps you should consider when you start to thing about the goals you want to establish for the coming year.

1. Goal setting is not something that you do once a year, and then forget it. Goal setting is a process that is integrated into your day to day operations, if it is not, then it’s a wasted activity. Setting a goal is the start point, what takes place after is the real meant and potatoes of the process. A goal without the back up effort is just another empty promise you make to yourself. As you start to work on goals for 2010, start to look at the time, resources and effort that these goals are going to require. You have to temper what you want to do, with your realistic ability to achieve them. Always, think big, work small.

2. A tool that I strongly recommend is one that I have  developed over the years, it’s called the Power Living Life List, the PLLL, for more information and detail on this tool, visit, www,powerempowerment.com This tool is invaluable in helping you get a handle on your goals, aspirations, dreams for your immediate future, as well as the rest of your life. One of the main reasons people do not achieve what they want in life, is the fact that it’s impossible to do so. You, like pretty well all of the rest of us, simply have too much on our plates, our grasp always outreaches our ability to get all of the things we want to do, done.

3. In order to be successful, we HAVE to have the ability to first be able to quantify what it is we want to do, then to start to be realistic about what is possible and achievable, then move forward armed with this knowledge. This process has to be on going because all of the factors that effect our ability to get things done, changes on an ongoing unorganized manner and we have to be able to shift and move with these changes.

4. First things first, we need to have a COMPLETE list, a complete inventory of what we would like to do, before we start to divvy up our resources, time, effort, focus, money, all of the factors that will determine what gets at least attempted, let alone done. Attempting to set up goals will be an impossible task if we only do half of the job. Half of the job is trying to organize our time and resources, allocate them, and then discover that there are 2 or 3, maybe 5 more tasks that are also going to be vying for these limited resources. Not having all of the facts at your disposal when you are trying to map out your next year, is similar to starting out on a trip, without knowing g the end destination. The problems with this scenario are endless, not at least is the problem of how do you know when you get to the end if you do not know where the end is?

Here is a good place to stop. Start creating your own Power Living Life List, PLLL,  it’s an invaluable tool that is indispensable in helping you get a handle on what you want to do, for the rest of your life. Think of your PLLL as an in box for the rest of your life.

Internet Home Businesses Need To Know The Difference Between Being Busy And Being Productive

This is hard for any of us to first understand, then to be able to practice what we need to do on a daily basis in order to be as successful as we can be. The reason I know how hard knowing the difference is, is because I struggle with this battle everyday. The battle is trying to be productive instead of just being busy, being busy is the easy part, being productive is the hard part.

First, the difference between being busy and productive is this. Being busy means you are working and doing things, but what you are accomplishing and getting done are not the key priority activities that NEED to get done to drive your AGENDA and move your forward to success. There is a massive difference between just getting THINGS done and then getting your prioritizes done. That in one sentence could be what separates the winners from those that just survive, the ability to get the priorities done at the expense of just the important things. Let me explain.

Important things are what should get done, priorities are what NEEDS to get done. You run a business, paperwork and bookkeeping are important issues that have to be addressed, they should and will get done, BUT what NEEDS to get done are activities that will generate new customers and create revenue. Businesses that fail to know this difference, are businesses that fail to either survive, or if they survive, are not anywhere as successful as they could and should be.

You are starting your new Internet Business Opportunity, you are being drawn in a hundred directions at once, you need to be able to zero in on the key priority issues, ensure they get done, at the expense of other almost as important activities, and you need to do this on a daily basis, how do you accomplish this? You need to realize that things you want to do are not going to get done, and you need to let them go. This is hard for all of us, including me and I have been aware of this fact for more than 35 years and I still struggle with this daily. This is a good thing.

The reason this struggle is a good thing is by struggling, I am at least in the game, and I am at the least,  a Driver instead if a passenger. We all know what that difference is, and if you do not, visit www.powerempowerment.com and find out for free. The reason it’s a good thing, the fact that i struggle with doing important, productive things instead of getting sucked into busy things, that MAY or not be important is that I am fighting the good fight, and by fighting the good fight, I stand a chance of winning. Not fighting the good fight means I have zero chance of winning, you can not win if you are not at least in the game swinging the bat.

You can start today, you can get into the game and you have a great head start on everybody else. Your head start is this, start to look at what fills your day, is it full of busy stuff, stuff that you really do not have much of a hand in deciding what they were, in other words, the standard lot of all passengers. Was your day filled with things you decided to do, activities and tasks that were important to you and you achieving success? if they were, you are on your way to becoming a Driver and to getting a handle on what is important compared to what is just busy work.

This is a a great place to get into the game.

It’s Fast Approaching, That Time Of The Year: New Years Resoloutions

By the end of the second week in January, its estimated that over 90% of News Years Resolutions have been broken, it only takes most of us less than 15 days to slip back into old habits. What this means is that we need to have a better system for making changes to our lives. Here are some suggestions that you should look at as we head into a New Year.

1. Same old, same old is a saying that has been around for as long as I can remember, it has survived for this long because it is a good one. Simply put, if you continue to do the same old things, you will continue to get the same old results. Simple, but true. If you want positive changes in your life, you must start to make changes to the way you do things. This translates  into taking concrete actual steps, not just hoping and wishing, but sitting down and looking at what you do, how you do it, and then decide how you are going to make the changes to get new and better results.

2. I suggest that you start the New year by creating a Power Living Life List, PLLL, go to my site, www.powerempowerment.com, review the FREE material there on this topic and take advantage of the FREE 30 day trial for the Power Time System. I am going to give you a brief description of the PLLL here.

3. What is crucial for you to make strides in getting control of your time, reducing your stress, getting more productivity out of the hours you invest and becoming a happier person, is to FINALLY get a handle on all of the things you want to do with your life. That sounds like a big undertaking, it is, but its a must if you want to take charge of your life. taking charge means, yes, becoming a Driver. Drivers are people who have an accurate, realistic picture and understanding or what their current status is and most importantly, what their future holds.

4. Without this information, you are going to continue to be a passenger, you will continue to be a victim of the circumstance around you and finally, you are just not going to be in the game. Your PLLL is what I call, an inbox for the rest of your life. For those of you who may not be familiar with what an in box is, another description is this, your  PLLL is going to be the place that will hold all of the things you want to do for the rest of your life.

5. Physically, your PLLL can be a file on your computer, a three ring binder, a box on your desk, a file in your briefcase, it can be anything you want it to be. All your PLLL has to do is hold data, information, pieces of parer, that will hold the tasks, the things, your dreams and aspirations that will make up the rest of your life.

6. You can start today, start writing down all of the things that are going to make up the content of the rest of your life. the list is endless, job issues, family goals, hobbies, areas of interest, starting a new business, looking for a place to relocate, new relationships, religious goals, charity involvements, adding on to the existing house, the list is endless. Once you start to create your PLLL, this activity should never stop, unless you do.

7. Whats the goal of creating a PLLL ? Simple, you need to know what time demands you are placing on yourself. This is the missing link in virtually everyone’s game plan. It’s impossible to know how to parcel out your time, effort and resources, INTELLIGENTLY, until you know what all the demands are. How can you organize yourself, make any kind of logically goals and plans, with your time, which is not a renewable resource by the way, until you know what all the demands are?

Give this some thought as you think about the changes you are complementing for the New Year.

Internet Home Business Opportunity 1st Timer Has a Question About Being The Passenger or Driver

December 23rd, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Internet Home Businesses

Find The Answers Here
Internet Home Business Ideas
www.learn2earn2.com

If you are looking at starting or have started an Internet Business Opportunity you need to start to work on this concept, today. Working from home has it’s own set of problems, as well as many pluses. The problem is, the pluses are not what is going to sink you, it’s the problems you have to worry about. Here are some tips on how to get grounded in your new Internet Business Opportunity .

1. First and foremost, you need to start to treat your opportunity with some respect. Yes, respect, if you do not, you will be spending more of your time trying to play catch up than you would like to admit. What I mean by respect is this, treat your business like a business, and it will in turn give you back 10 fold in rewards. Lets start with time issues.

2. How much time are you willing to set a side, to invest in your business? I use the word invest because your time is more valuable than money. You can always get or make more money, the same can not be said of your time. At the end of each day, you had the opportunity that day to spend your time in a variety of ways. You could of spent it in bed, you could of gone for a walk, you could of looked after family obligations, you probably spent some of that time in your existing job, the choice was yours. This is something that you need to get completely comfortable with, the choice is always yours, on how you spend your time.

3. Based on what you currently do now, how much time are you prepared to invest on your new Internet Business  Opportunity? This is a question that you have to ask yourself, and it’s one that demands a real carefully thought out answer. this is what I mean by treating your opportunity with respect. Not asking this question, about the time demands of your opportunity, and then not addressing how much time your are going to invest, would be disrespectful, to your opportunity, and to yourself. Passengers  would not ask the question, Drivers would be all over this issue.

4. What happens in your new Internet Business Opportunity will start to flow from this question. We all can get a little hyped when we start something new, its natural and would probably be a little unnatural if your were not, but that’s the start, after that part is over, reality has to sink in and we have to start to work towards getting the frame work set up,  the framework that is going to dictate whether we succeeds or fail.

5. Deciding this question will determine what has to go and what gets to stay. Based on how crowded your life was before, you can either just fill out your current schedule with the obligations of your new business or job, or you have to start to chop things you currently do in order to clear up some time for your new venture. That is how a Driver thinks, a Passenger on the other hand would just let things ” happen” and then be surprised when your new venture would just implode. Things do not just mysteriously happen in the business world, at least not good things.

Believe it of not, this one seemingly tiny question will be a pivotal point in your new venture. How you address it will be the start on your journey to becoming a Driver or a Passenger. Drivers will address it head on, will sit down and map out the time they spend now on what they currently do, will set a time frame for the new opportunity and based on this data, will start to make some tough decisions. The Passengers will more than likely just see what happens and hope it all works out in the end. Be sure to let me know how that works out for you :)

Attention All Internet Home Businesses : Are You a Passenger or a Driver?

December 22nd, 2009 | No Comments | Posted in Internet Home Businesses

Find The Answers Here
Internet Home Business Ideas
www.learn2earn2.com

Part of the process to becoming rich, or earning a part time income from home is making the conscious decision to stop being a passenger, and start being a driver. I have given thousands of seminars, to multiple thousands of people over the last 3o plus years, the percentage of passengers to drivers is about 2%, or less.

That means, out of 100 people attending my seminar, or picking 100 people at random, off the street, less than 2 out of the 100 are drivers. This theme, of drivers versus passengers was started by myself in the mid 80″s, despite what the car commercials say ! It became clear to me, and soon after to my clients and customers ( that’s what we called people in the old days that bought your products or services :) that what separated the winners from the losers, was whether you were a driver or a passenger. Visit my site for more background information, www.powerempowerment.com

This concept, driver versus passenger is simple up front, much more complex as you delve into it. For this short intro, I will scratch the surface, raise the issue, and hopefully get you re thinking what and how you do it. First and foremost, this is not a situation where you simply declare yourself, one or the other, it is a matter of actually BECOMING one, or the other. let me explain.

The names say it all. What comes to mind when you think about passengers? Someone who lets other people do the driving, other people do the thinking, decide where to go, passengers are passive and they LET other people decide and pursue their own  agendas, not a good thing for you. Does this sound like a person who is going to get very far, someone who is going to make a success of their new Internet Business Opportunity, or anything for that matter? Clearly, I took some creative liberties with my description of what a passenger is, but the point is clearly there, passengers are NOT the dominant force in the relationship between themselves, the passengers, and the drivers.

Drivers on the other hand, evoke an entirely different image. Drivers are assertive, in control, they are the decision makers, they decide where  they and you the passengers go, end of discussion. Most of all, drivers, drive their own Agenda, a crucial step in becoming successful. If you take nothing more from this Post than this, you will be infinitely be  better off than you were before reading this, the point to take is this, successful people HAVE and then drive their OWN Agenda. I always hate to say this, and I am asked repeatedly to do so, the question is this, ” what is the number one thing I should do if I want to be successful”?

The answer would have to be, put yourself in a position to be able to drive your own Agenda. That simple process is the crux and key to becoming successful. Don’t let the seemingly simplicity of that statement fool you, its a complex and layered goal to achieve but the rewards are massive.

Whether you are aware of the criteria of being a driver or a passenger, right now, you are one or the other, have to be, it’s that simple. Either you are in charge, in control, drive or pursue your own agenda, or you are the opposite. It’s simple for you to look at the brief descriptions I have here, and then slot yourself into one or the other. Clearly, you want to be honest and asses yourself accurately, you are the one who will suffer the consequences, no one else.

Rule of thumb, you are a passenger unless you have taken corrective steps along the way to BECOME a driver. The very rare person is born a driver, we all seem to naturally be passengers, and then along the way decide that being the one who is always getting the fuzzy end of the stick is not where you want to be.

As always, the good news is, its ENTIRELY within your control to get out of the passengers seat, and climb on in to the drivers seat. I hope you give this some thought, more to come on this topic soon.

The Internet is a tough place to make money. If you think it’s not, you are in for a rude awakening. Whether you decide on an Internet Business Opportunity, an Internet Work from Home Job making a profit from your online decision is a challenging situation.  The value that this information to you is this, I am not making any money from you, my information is there fore unbiased and you can at least look at what I say with a certain amount of trust. This is one of the areas that you have to be very leery of, working on the Internet, the trust factor.

The Internet allows people to be invisible, that is not a good thing in most cases. Someone can open up shop on the Internet, advertise and product a product or service, take your money and in an instant, disappear into the night and start the whole process over the next day. How does one protect themselves from this? I wish I had a good answer for you on this common Internet problem, but unfortunately there is no simple answer.

The best way to protect yourself is to be aware, BEFORE you enter into any Internet Business Opportunity  or Work at Home  situation that you are dealing with an email address and in most cases, a complete unknown. If there is a problem, or you are not getting what was promised, or worse, are simply not getting paid, pull the plug as early as you can limiting your losses to the minimum amount possible. It is a sad state of affairs when we have to proceed on the basis that we are working in an environment that has a justifiable reputation for scams and rip off schemes.

How to spot them, before you get involved and spend money and more importantly, invest and spend out time?

Here are a few pointers;

1. Legitimate Internet Business  Opportunities rarely,  if ever, should cost you money to get involved with them. Think about it, did you ever spend money to get hired in the outside world? No is the answer, then why would you pay someone to hire you on the Internet? Stay way from jobs that require you to pay them.

2. Avoid working through middle people, people or companies that are between you and the job or opportunity. The only reason some one is between you and the job or opportunity is because they are making money off the transaction. I do not begrudge someone who is offering a legitimate service, they are entitled to be paid, just make sure that when you pay someone for a service, that you in fact are getting something of value in return.

3. Always deal direct with the source of the Internet Business Opportunity when ever possible. If you can talk to the person who is doing the hiring or has the business opportunity, this is the route you want to go. The Internet is filled with situations where people will say that they have a list or have the inside track on where to find jobs or Business Opportunities, you are going to have to make decision on whether you feel comfortable in paying for this information, in order to deal direct with these sources.

4. Get rich quick schemes deserve a section all to themselves. I will touch on them briefly here. I do not want to say that they NEVER work out, but I will say that the chances that YOU will be the lucky one to catch a real Internet Business Opportunity from this lot is very very slim. Ask yourself this question, if the claims on these schemes are to be believed, making thousands of dollars  right off the bat, with little or no work or experience, if these claims were true, why would any one tell anyone else about them? If they were true, wouldn’t the people keep the ” secrets ” to themselves and make MILLIONS instead of thousands, that’s what I would do, what would you do?

This is not meant to be any sort of complete list, just something for you to put up on your radar screen and start to look at what is out there through a cautionary filter. A general rule of thumb when thinking about getting involved with anything on the Internet, think twice, act once.

Is it any surprise that you are already behind, and you just started, what to do, what to do. It may not be any consolation but you are not alone, being behind and being rushed and over whelmed is par for the course, unfortunately.

My advice to you, is the same advice I have been giving my clients and members for years, if you want to get more time, better put, if you want to make better use of the time you have, you have to give up some of that valuable resource, in order to make better use of it in the future. That is right, spend some now, to have more available in the future. This is a hard reality to come to grips with, it’s hard for all of us, some of us make it, and survive, others do not grasp it, get it, and they do not survive. You have heard the saying, the survival of the fittest, it really should be, the survival of the smartest.

Let’s set the scene, you are going at 110% , flat out and then some, kids, family, maybe, current job, current business, outside interests so you do not go completely bonkers, family/friends interactions, and on top of all of that, you decided to add yet another layer, a new Internet Business Opportunity. Lets face it, you were already behind, BEFORE you added the new obligation to the party. That is where the problems began, you added something new to an already existing situation that was basically out of control. Something akin to throwing gasoline to an existing fire, that was out of control to start with.

What to do? Start with realizing that you need to re group and re organize, not the new business opportunity, that is not the problem, start with re organizing how you function on a day to day basis, under what passes for normal circumstances for you. How do you normally organize your day, what steps, procedures do you take to prioritize your tasks and activities, what takes precedence over one task compared to another, what criteria do you use to make decisions like that? You need to be making decisions like this, and starting to think along these lines, if you want to get your life either back in control, or if you are happy with what you are doing now, move to the next level.

This is where you spend time now, so you will make better use of your future time comes in, you MUST make the decision now, to spend time you feel you do not have, in order to investigate how you start to answer the above questions and start to do the above actions, doing neither guarantees you more of the same, and guarantees that your current level of satisfaction and performance will only worsen and deepen. As time goes on, our work load, our aspiration load, and our wish loads only increase.

The good news is this, it is amazing how small simple steps in how you think and do things can have a dramatic positive impact  on your life. I do not like to use the word secret, because that implies that it is a secret one step process, which it is not but I will pass it on, none the less. The ” secret ” is this, small incremental steps, on a regular basis, gets the job done. I have worked with thousands of people over the years and getting better organized, gaining back control of their time and in the process, becoming happier, more relaxed and accomplished people was not as an intimidating job as it sounds. The opposite is true, spend some time, in the right areas, and really good things will happen much sooner than you think.

If you want to get the maximum benefit from your new Internet Home Business or job, spend the time now, to make sure your reap the rewards you should be getting, in the future.
