The Uneasy Relationship Between Internet Home Business Owners and the Search Engines

April 15th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I am again starting yet another Internet Home Business web site , this time correctly, and in doing so, I am in conflict with who I am actually building the site for. I used the word correctly because, when I built my first 10 sites, I managed to make about every mistake manageable. I have since been told by many people that what  I experienced was pretty well the norm. Some of the mistakes I made were building the sites, according to what I wanted  them to be about, boy, was that a mistake, and I actually thought my sites should actually serve my future customers, wrong again.

I am being a bit caustic here, but I do feel that when ever I start to do work on any of my Internet Home Business web sites, I find myself in this conflict between what I want to have on the site, and what I think I should have on it. This may be because I am still new to the whole Internet way  of doing business and as I get a little more comfortable, this tension will ease. The tension comes from the fact that I started my first series of web sites and spent no time on figuring out the relationship between keywords and page rank, and ultimately traffic. Bad miscalculation on my part.

I was advised that  just having good original content about what my site was about was all that was required. About a year latter, guess what, that was not good enough,  not by a country mile. It’s important to point at this juncture that the purpose of your web site is an important consideration. If you want to make money, you need to pay attention to key words and all that implies, if your site is for your enjoyment, then you are in the drivers seat. Being in the drivers  seat means that you have the freedom to write what you want and how you want. That is a luxury the ones of us who need / and or want to make money do not have.

I envy the people who have put themselves in a position that they do not have to construct their web site and tailor their content with one eye on the search engines and one eye on their customers. I am not a SEO expert, never have claimed to be one, what I can tell you from experience is this. I built a number of web sites, had what some people said was great original content, paid attention to the content and giving my customers  and the people visiting the site the best possible information, all without a care in the world for the search engines, keywords, and page rank.

The result of that was a great site, but zero traffic.  For an Internet Home Business web site that was suppose to generate some profit, no traffic was a slight draw back to that plan.  We have to find a happy balance between the content on our site and the impact that content has on our relationship with the SE’s. What I am finding is that there is a balance between pleasing the search engines and also pleasing our customers. I wish there was a book or a source that has the exact balance   that we need to reach, make our customers coming back to our sites, and giving enough to the SE’s to get us the traffic in the first place.   Have a great evening, see you tomorrow.

Niche Marketing for an Internet Home Business, Drew Some Strong Reactions

March 27th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

If you own an Internet Home Business, you belong to the largest segment on the Internet. You and I represent the biggest market to anyone who wants to make money. The Internet Home Business market represents the single largest group of people, who want to make money operating their businesses, this in turn draws out the people who want to help us make that money. However, this is where there is a split in the path. My Internet Home Business, like yours and yours, offers a real product that people can buy and use, not so with the marketers that are trying to  separate you and I from our money. Lets look at the concept of Niche Marketing, NM.

1. First and foremost, NM is a term that was invented,  promoted and developed as a concept to be peddled to people who own an Internet Home Business and who  want to make money. It was man made, and made to separate you from your money. NM as a pure business concept, without all of the added hype and outright lies attached to it, is a sound basic business principle, has been around as long as there were two competitors in the same village  both trying to sell the same thing. Niche Marketing means trying to find an underdeveloped portion of the market that you can get into more easily and because of the lessen competition, can make a go of it.

In principle, NM is a sound way to go, nothing wrong with the concept, what  is wrong is what is happening out there in the market place. If you are starting out in your first Internet Home Business, by all means, pay attention to the niches out there, pick your business and your spots carefully, just stay away from the people who have a ” system ” to allow you to put up a niche Internet Home Business web site in 30 minutes and instantly dominate that market. NM is  a sound business practice if it’s done properly, here are the practices  to stay away from.

1. Instant Internet  Home Business web sites featuring an instant Niche Market concept. Remember, a NM is only a NM if it in fact has a following, fills a need, or there are people actually interested in what your think is a NM. There is no such thing as NM, you can not put that term into a search engine and have Niche Markets pop up, it does not work that way. Take the auto motive industry for example, it’s huge. Lets narrow that industry down a bit, lets look at after car sales, that has reduced the total market by a chunk, but that end of the auto market is still too huge for us to compete in, that is the purpose of this exercise, finding a part of a big market, that we want to set up our Internet Home Business in, that small piece of a large market is called a NM.

We are now looking for a smaller piece of the auto after market, the part of the auto  industry that sells and services people after they bought a car. We decide that we want to service people who have bought convertibles, narrowing the market even further. We like old classic cars, so we decide that we want to service and repair old classic convertibles. This is the niche market we want to set up our Internet Home business in, and we are hoping that this market is in fact a market and is large enough to support our business. Setting up a real NM business is a bit tricky, we need a market big enough to support our business, but we need to be able to get a piece of that market to do so. Our NM  has to be big enough to support us, but not too big that we get lost in the shuffle with the big boys.

Part of the process of getting started in an Internet Home Business is picking a business that we like and know something about, and then making sure that what we pick is a business, not a hobby. More about that next time. My best advice is this, forget about finding a NM, first concentrate on the Internet Home Business concept from the perspective of what will best suit you, then work back wards from there.  have a great day, see you tomorrow.

Internet Home Business Review of First 4 Topics In Goal Setting

February 18th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

This is the Internet Home Business Review of the firsts 4 topics in goal setting. I have covered these in the last 6 weeks and have received a fair amount of positive comments from people. The questions have been good and I have tried to answer them over the last little while. I will list them here as well as adding a line or two and answer some of the questions again. I will highlight what I consider the main point to be in each item. If you own an Internet Home Business, you will find some very useful points in this post.

  1. Goal Setting is Not a One Time Process    Setting goals is a process that evolves over long periods of time, and after the goals are set, the application and integration of those goals must be on a daily basis. The routine of setting Goals at the beginning of the year, and then dusting them off a year latter, is a futile gesture and a waste of your time. Setting the goals is a long process in itself, the  process of achieving those  goals is equally long. If you want to achieve your goals, they have to be front and centre.

  2. Set Your Goals, You Need to Have Goals   This may seem to be redundant, but in needs to be said. Having goals is important because it gives you are target to shoot at. We all need to have something off in the distance, not too distant mind you, but having goals that make us reach and work towards is an important part of the process. If you own an Internet Home Business, you need to have an idea of what you are shooting for, what defines success for you. You should be able to turn around to the person beside you, or the wall beside you, and quickly recite at least 3 goals you have for yourself  and 3 goals for your Internet Home Business. If not, spend some time on this important topic, for some help, www.powertimemanagementsystems.com

  3.  Write Them Down  If your own an Internet Home Business and think you have goals set up for this year, the way to tell is to go and look at them, right now. This is a trick question, if you can not go and find them, ie, find them written down some where, then you really do not have anything in place as far as goals are concerned. You absolutely must get them out of your head, and down in some written form, that is a must. I have dealt with thousands and thousands of people who own an Internet Home Business, some with multiple Businesses, and I can tell you this, the ones who take the time, to properly think out the process of setting their goals, then take the time to write them down, have 100 times more chance of achieving the goals than those that do not write them down.

  4.  Make Your Goals Measuarable  Saying my goal this year is to be rich, is a waste of breathe, saying you want to make 5,000 more this than last year, that is a measurable goal. The easier it is to identify what the goal is , the easier it will be to realize it. This does not mean make the goal easy, just make the goal easier to identify when it has been achieved, easier. The purpose of setting goals is to make us reach for something, make us strive to be better, the purpose is to not frustrate us.

That gives you a little more meat on the first 4 Goal Setting topics. When you think about it, owning an Internet Home Business is a challenge  in itself, we do not want to make our lives any more difficult than they already are by making this process harder than it should be. The goal setting process, when you think about it, should be a pleasant one. Setting and then reaching our goals is one of the pleasures of owning an Internet Home Business.   Have a great day.

For People who Own an Internet Home Business, Sometimes You Have to Hold Yourself Accountable

February 17th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I own an Internet Home Business and there are days that are just not worth getting up for. These are the days that Irely on my Time Management system, www.powertimemanagementsystems.com, to pull me through. I just had a tough day, a day that I could just not get anything  going. We all have those kinds of days, the trick is to not have too many of them. On days like this one, you have to hold yourself accountable, if you don’t, you are going to have a hard time making a go of it. Running an Internet Home Business takes a great deal of dedication and perseverance, you need to make sure that you take advantage of all of the tools and resources available to you. Here are some tools that you can use to turn bad days into at least better ones, if not good ones.

  1. You need to start out with a firm written Agenda for the day. I knew I was flopping around like a fish out of water, because I had not written out a clear Agenda  for the day. I know better, and that is what made me madder, and when that happens, we just get mired in the mud even farther. Knowing what to do is worse than not knowing, at least to some extent, ignorance is bliss. I have dealt with thousands of Internet Business  owners, and we all seem to follow the same pattern, when the day starts off wrong, it is very hard to turn it around. Having a written Agenda in place is a huge factor in whether your day will go well for you or not. Do not neglect this important piece of the puzzle.

  2. Salvaging a bad day is worth the effort. When we have let our day get away from us, we have to admit it, hold ourselves accountable, and then try to get something done that will not make the whole day a write off. I was fumbling around all day, clearly out of whack and unable to really get any rhythm going, I knew the whole day was shot, but I could still get a few key priorities done and salvage something. One of my key priorities for each day is to post a blog on the 3 blogs that I have. This very key priority is suppose to be done by 9:00 in the morning, it was already 3:00 and I had not posted on one of them, let alone 3. I knew if I could one, or even two posted, I would at least end the day on some what of a high point.

It is now 7:27 PM, and I am working on this post, my 2nd one for the day. I will probably not get the 3rd one done, but I will finish this one and have 2 out of 3 accomplished. It will not make up for an almost wasted day, but I will at least gain a small victory.

  3. When things go south on you, you have to admit it, and then in the same breath, start assessing what went wrong and make plans to change things for the next day. There is no shame in falling down, the shame is just laying there and doing nothing to help yourself get up. I am fortunate that I know what I have to do to make things happen for myself. That is a small part of the battle, the big part is to be able to put the tools and systems in place to make things happen.

If you operate an Internet Home Business, you want to arm yourself with the right tools and systems to get the job done. I hope you visit this blog often and use the tools and tips that are here for. If you have any questions about the comments here, drop me a line, will be happy to provide any help and support I can.  Have a great day.

Internet Home Business Tip Number 487, Technology , Friend or Foe

February 14th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

Internet Home Business Tip 487 deals with most of the questions I have gotten up to this point on this site, blog. The questions deal with how to sort through all of the information that is out there and then zero in on what we should be doing. If you own an Internet Home Business, by its very nature, you have to work with a computer and that is where our problems start. I say our because I am not immune to the lure of the Internet and its massive array of content, just sitting there like a spider in its web waiting for some fly.  If you operate an Internet Home Business, you have to learn to avoid the spiders web, if you expect to be successful. First lets deal with technology for just a moment.

  1. When ever I say this, people first of all do not believe me, regardless of what I say, it seems just to unbelievable to them. Here it is, I do not own a cell phone or any other hand held phone type product, zero, nothing. I have not had a cell phone for about the last 15 years. I had one for about 2 years and then just realized that the cell phone was interfering with my success, my ability to get work done, it was just a massive interruption, waiting to happen. I just woke up one day and literally dumped it in the garbage and never regretted it for a second.

  2. Technology, and I will refer to cell phones and their like, as well as computers, as technology, are a two edged sword. On one hand they offer us as a society incredible advancements in communications, material movement, data retrieval, storage and retrieval of data, knowledge and much much more. I think we all get the picture, computer age, the age of everything instant at our finger tips, I get the advantages available to us compared to even the last generation. HOWEVER, there  is another side to the sword.

  3. Despite all of the advancements that technology offers us, are , we as a generation, better off? I have an unique perspective in this discussion, I straddle two generations, I started working with Time Management related issues in the early to mid 80″s, the end of one generation and continued with the new computer age generation which is continuing today. I have seen the effects that the new computer age is having on my generation as well as the new generation that basically grew up with computers. Frankly, we are worse off today than the generation that just started with computers.

  4. I have this on going discussion with my clients , some pre computer generation and some born and raised on computers. The ongoing discussion is this, has the proliferation of computers, cell phones, ipods, hand held commuting devices of every kind, helped us become more organized, gain better control of our time and ourselves, are we in fact happier people because of technology, my answer is a resounding no. Two quick reasons and then an explanation.First, we still have to think for ourselves and this generation is not better at it than mine, so we are still back at square one when it comes to the thinking for ourselves part. The second one is, THIS generation is worse off than the last one because of this massive overload of quick easy accessible information and content at our finger tips, it’s almost like a drug, once you get taste, you get hooked.

Thinking for ourselves is where we all run into trouble. Running an Internet Home Business is a complex process, we need to be able to make the right decisions and then to implement those decisions into our day to day Agendas, more on that here, www.powertimemanagementsystems.com. Despite all of the technology, we still have to make the final decisions, despite all of the apparent help available to us. That is my point, technology is there to help us, not make the decisions for us.

Having the world at our finger tips is very addictive. We have all stated a task on the computer, fulling intending to get one specific bit of information, and 4 hours latter, find ourselves in another part of the world looking at a totally unrelated topic. One link leads to another link to another, and half the day is gone.

Technology, friend or foe is something that we all have to come to our own personal grips with. Whether you operate an Internet Home Business or have a job you operate from home, we are all faced with coming to our own peace with technology.   Have a great day.

Goal Setting Questions From People Who Own an Internet Home Business

February 13th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

 I have been collecting a few questions from people who own an Internet Home Business on the posts I made last month on Goal Setting for Internet Home Businesses. The main two were these;

  1. How do you separate your key priorities from all of the other important things that have to be done?

There is no  clear cut way to do this unfortunately. What is important is this, you are arware that there is a  difference between Priorities and other important  things and you are attempting to work through this process. I hate to say that this is the first step, but it is. Did you ever worry about separating priorities and important tasks before?, if the answer is no, then you are now miles ahead of where you were before. Do not underestimate this fact.

  2. As far as picking out what is a priority and what is just important, try this. Start picking one key A priority for each day. Try to pick something that is under an hour to get done, those work best. Start picking one  day. Work on getting that one done each day. For more ideas on this, www.powertimemanagementsusyems.com. Try to Time Activate that one A Priority for the morning, if you get jammed up, you still have the afternoon to get it done.

  3. Pay attention to what is happening around you each day. In the time frame that you are doing your one selected A priority, what else is trying to crowd you out of doing this priority? That could be a clue to you, that what you may have picked, was not the top priority, this other task that is competing for your time , may of been a better choice.  I have found that once people start to look at what they are doing in regards to key priorities, they are now more alert to what is really important to them and what are  things that matter, but can wait.

  4. I will mention again quickly about urgent compared to important. Important are things that we want to get done, things that help us move closer to getting tasks and jobs accomplished that benefit us in the long run. Getting important  things done like our key a priorities will be the  deciding factor in whether we get our goals accomplished or not. Urgent tasks, are usually things and events around us that benefit other people more than ourselves. Urgent tasks are interruptions that prevent us from doing what is important to us. A simple rule of thumb is this, urgent bad, important good.

  5. Back to deciding what is the number one  A priority on a daily basis. If you operate an Internet Home Business, you need to consistently accomplish what is important to you, on a daily basis. Having said that, what is more important than that is to get to a place where you are consistently accomplishing SEVERAL of your key A Priorities daily. The long and the short of it is this, accomplishing 3 or more A priorities daily means that over a weeks time frame, you will be covering ALL of what has to be done over that week. Whether you did the Top  3 for each day is not important, what is important is that over that week, you will have covered what had to be done.

No one is that positve that Task 17 is that much more important then task 23B, if one gets done a day before the other, the world will not callapse. Remember that yesterday, you were not aware that this isssue could so positvly effect your performance, now you do and the benifits will be felt on a daily basis, that is going to be powerful for you. Always bear in mind that improvements and benifiots to you will be benifits  and improvements that you will experience every day for the rest of your life. Nothing else you do will be able to give you those kinds of benifits for so long, from such a small amount of investment up front. This is just another reason why I am such a fan of Time Management, I always like to invest a little, and get such a huge return back. Operating an Internet Home Business means that you need to get the maximum value out of every  bit of time you invest, getting your A Priorities done on a daily basis should in itself, be your daily priority.

  Have a great day.

Internet Home Buinesses Need an Effective Operating System, Try Time Management

February 12th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

Internet Home Businesses need an effective operating system to tie everything together. I have been dealing with Time Management and related fields for 3o years, and believe it or not, this is the first time that Ihave connected Time Management and operating systems together. Once I did, a light went on, this is the perfect way to explain to people the connection between what they are doing in life, the results they are getting or not, and having an effective Time Management System, like this one, www.powertimemanagementsystems.com .

You can say the same thing thousands of times, like I have, you can have a clear picture  in your own mind, but never be sure if you have gotten your point across to the people you are trying to reach. The saying, its as clear as mud comes to mind. As far as reaching people on the significance of how they deal with their time, I am not happy with my attempts. You would think that after as long as I have been at it, after dealing with thousands of Internet Home Businesses, that I would of gotten good at it. I am good, not just as good as I would like to have been, up to this point. Lots  of time left, I hope, to get it right.

I do however, like my new attempt at getting people to convert to the time side, the Time Management side.  Here it is. What is the first thing you do when you buy an new computer system? You install an operating system, unless it comes with one already, which should tell us something about the significance of an operating system. If your computer does not have an operating system, it simply does not have the ability to tie in all of the other systems that are on the computer, your computer, without an operating system, lacks the ability to actually do anything.

In reality, our computers can not actually perform the functions of a computer, without some form of operating system. With this in mond, why do people, us, you and me, try to navigate life without an operating system? Right now, in real time, you could tell me the operating system you have on your computer in about 2 seconds, right? Now, tell me in the same time frame, what is your operating system for your life?  If your are the norm, out of 100 people, less than 5 of them would of been able to answer that last question.

Internet Home  Businesses need two operating systems to be successful, one for their computers and one for their lives. Yes, there is a difference between the operating system for your computer and the operating system you should have for your life. One of them makes you think, and the other one lulls you into a sense that it is thinking for you ! How you control, manage and invest your time is far too important to you and your success to just leave it to chance, which is what you are doing when you try to fly through life being a passenger, not a driver, for more, www.powertimemanagementsystems.com

Time Management is something that people look at and dismiss, mainly because they are short on time and want to get to something that is of more value and interest to them. That is a personal choice and one that everybody has to take responsibility for. Its a cause and effect situation, we do something, there is a consequence, and we have to be up to accepting the consequences of our actions.

Give some thought to this post. Look at what you are accomplishing in life, look at  whether you have an operating system and ask yourself, should your computer be the only one that has an operating system?    Have a great day.

Internet Home Businesses Registration from India, Maybe, Just Maybe?

February 11th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I just received my first Registration from India, for my personal Internet Home Businesses Opportunity, www.hhhmakemoneyonline.com. His name is Hoshiyar Singh and he just Registered to become a Regional Developer. Could this be the acorn that grows into a mighty oak tree? Internet Home Businesses, if they are set up right, can take off like wild fire. I believe the HHH Internet Home Business Opportunity that Hoshiyar signed up for has that potential.

What do I say to Hoshiyar to help him get started and to help him become as successful as he wants to be and as successful as he should  be? I have spent the last 30 years working with Internet Home Businesses, even when there were no computers! Things have really changed very little, much faster and with an incredible reach, but past that, people still need to be treated with respect and in a fair fashion. Here is my advice to Hoshiyar, as he starts his new Internet Home Business.

 1. Think big, work small. Hishiyar wants to be a Regional Developer, he may want to expand past his boarders, all possible with the HHH Internet Home Business Opportunity. The way to do that is too dream big, and then when you actually start to work, you work on the smallest unit possible, in this case, you want to work on being the best possible Territory Manager in the town, village or crossroads where you may live.

  2. The secret to success in this Business Opportunity is this, get good, then make some money. Getting good means, learn the business, get familiar with what works and how it works. The breakdown is this, become the best Territory  Manager there is, and then you can multiply that success as large as you want. I have always found that the people who want to  be successful, really successful, are not afraid to put in the ground work to make that happen. Internet Home Business owners are people who make the sacrifices required to get the job done.

  3. Multiplication and  Internet Home Businesses were made for each other. The Internet allows one person, to stretch across the globe. Hoshiyar is capable of building his business in India and then expand across the world, without leaving his house. The HHH Internet Home Business Opportunity was specifically set up to allow and to promote this kind of viral growth. It all starts from one persons  dedication, work and sacrifice.

  4. Successful Regional Developers will be the people who recognize that the way to become successful yourself, is to help the people who you are working with and developing to be successful first. The term that I use is this, work through your people. Work beside them and behind  them, make sure that they have all the tools and help that they need to succeed. by doing this, you are ensuring your success at the same time. The more successful your Territory Managers are, the more success you as a Regional  Developer will have.

I have said in the past, all the HHH Interent Home Business Opportunity needs to take off, is the help and support of a few dedicated people at the beginning. A few people who have the ability to recognize the opportunity that is here for themselves, can and will make a massive impact on the organization as well as their lives as well. Perhaps Hosiyar Singh from India, will be one of those first few people, who knows?      Have a great day.

Reply to The Conection to Time Management and Internet Home Businesses Success

February 7th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I received 15 posts to this original Post. thats  a record for me so far! The majority of the posts came from people who owned Internet Home Businesses and had one issue, how to sort through all of the posts and information on my Time Management site, www.powertimemanagementsystems.com, to figure out what to do first. Time and availability are always the issues. Ironically, people are pressed for time while they are on a site dealing with Time Management issues!

How do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time. we have all heard that old chestnut, but we we heed the advice? What is truly amazing about getting involved and learning and applying the principles of Proper Time Management is this, you can start anywhere, and still get almost instant positive results. Here is a real life example.

I have conducted over 2,000 seminars on Time Management and related topics, my audiences ranged from 3 to over 600 participants. That means over 60,000 people have attended my seminars and ALL of them, at some time or another hand the same question, ” where do I start”. Fair question, here is the answer, ANYWHERE !!.  The Power Time Management Systems started out as 9 pages  photo copied material that I simply gave to all of my business consultant, franchisee customers, any one who walked into my office, got a copy. Today, the Power Time Management Systems has evolved and grown into over 600 plus pages of Systems, tools, tips, tricks of the trade, ideas , suggestions, on how to enrich, empower and improve your life, take a look, www.powertimemanagementsystems.com.

Back to my answer of where to start, ANYWHERE. As the seminars started, the Power Time Management Systems in fact become multiple systems, the volume of material increased, the questions of where to start also increased. I knew I had a situation on my hands and how I answered it would have a profound impact on the people attending the seminars. I knew that in reality, people would not follow the programme from page one to page whatever,  to the end, certainly not in chronological order, I knew that was not a problem, but they did not, how to show and solve this problem was my issue. One day something happened that changed all of that.

One day when I was giving a seminar, I accidental knocked my seminar notes off the lectern over the top and onto the floor  in front of me. The set up that day was such that to get my notes, I would of had to walk around a series tables and crawl around on the floor to get the notes. I was fielding questions at the time so I just left the notes there. I kept on answering the questions and one thing led to another, we got off topic, went on different tangents and ended up spending almost the entire morning just talking and dealing with unrelated Time Management issues. One of the best mornings I had ever had giving seminars.

A light went on in my head after that. the light was always there, this event just brought it into focus. The Power in the Power Time Management Systems is not in the actual systems, but in the inherent and real power of Time Management. My Systems are secondary to proper Time Management. That may be strange for someone like me to say, but it is the truth. This answers the questions that those 15 posters are asking, as well as the over 60,000 people have asked over the last 30 years, where to start, my answers is anywhere, as long as you start. That is the key, start.

Do not get hung up on the logistics, the size, the start, beginning, or the end, dive in, the water is great. I am over simplifying things a bit, but the important salient point is this, the Power Time Management Systems are not a rigid by the numbers  recipe for success in life, you will over time work through the material and you may or may not follow the ” letter of the law” so to speak, but the process of going through my material, in what ever order you use, will dramatically and positively improve and enrich your life, in any order.

Time Management is a journey, not a destination. The sooner you start that journey, the sooner you will start to reap the rewards.  Have a great day.

Internet Home Businesses Need To Conect The Dots To Success

February 5th, 2010 | No Comments | Posted in Uncategorized

I get this question a lot, whats the number one thing I should do to be successful? The short answer is, be well rounded. The answers to that are here, www.powertimesystem.com. I will however answer the question here. Working with thousands of Internet Home Businesses has led me to this conclusion, the best thing you can do to help yourself become successful is intensify your point of attack. In other words, focus on less activities and do those activities better. We all , including myself, try to do to many things at once, it’s a fatal mistake. It costs us production, it reduces our effective use of our time, it increases our stress levels, it hurts our confidence, its a real business basher.

Internet Home Businesses require a oneness of focus to be successful. The days I stay focused on the end goal, are the days that I get the most done, I am the most productive on the days that I drive my own Agenda and I usually  end the day with a smile on my face, always very important in the large picture. How do we stay focused?, here are some pointers:

  1. Have a written game plan, have a written Agenda that you intend to drive, every day. If you can not reach over right now, and put your hands on your written copy of your Agenda for TODAY, then your chances of being as successful as you want to be and could be are greatly reduced. Take my word for it, I have desalt with over 60,000 people in the last 30 plus years, most of them Internet Home Businesses, this point is crucial to YOU getting where you want to get to. I do not need to know what you want to achieve in life, all I need to know is are you giving yourself the best chance to achieve those goals and without a written Agenda, you are not.

  2. Staying focused can best be acheived, actually only be acghived if you have a clear picture of what you want to do, in it’s entirety. You need to get a handle on the big picture, your big picture. Once again, can you reach over and hold onto a one year, two year and a five plus year game plan for yourself? If not, you are taking a long bus ride, your life’s ride, without any idea where you are going, or how you are going to get there. You can see, once again, how you are making your life more difficult and complicated than it has to be. This is another simple tool that you can use to make your chances of succeeding in life, just that more likely. You want to do what ever you can to increase the odds in your favour of getting what you want out of life, accomplished.

  3. To get a clear picture of YOUR big picture, go here, www.powertimesystem.com  What you want to create, over time, is a Power Living Life List. You want to put everything you want to do, for the rest of your  life down on paper, in a storage file, on your personal data collector, which ever one you use, you need to store this data, in one place. The secret to this process is that it gives you an over view of what you want to do, in its entirety, so you can actually make intelligent decisions on what you want to do today, keeping in mind what may be coming down the pike in the next little while.

This knowledge allows you to stay focused better on today, knowing what is coming tomorrow, next week and next year. If you are going to run a successful Internet Home Business, you need to know what you are going to do today as well as in the future. It is always best to operate from a position of power, knowledge is power, you need to become as powerful as you can be, that means getting and using as much knowledge as you can accumulate.

A few quick pointers on connecting the dots to success. Have a great day.
