All those websites are free to join or free to sign up and they are promising free stuff if join them, a free e-book, free software or free website, and it's only a minute away, right? Yes, it take only a minute to sign up. Than comes the real work. Either you are subscribed to one affiliate program or more, or you ran you business with you own blog or website, you to be noticed. If you want to be noticed, you need to invest time in promoting your website, by advertising it in many different ways: 1. Article Marketing – writing articles is very important tool in promoting a home based business, learning to write takes time, and after mastering that you need to search and learn about you marketing niche, you need to know what you are selling and to whom. Writing your article will take a bout 30 minutes, but you have to research the subject, and after writing the article you have to submit it to article directories, you can pay for someone to do it for you, but it will cost you more money. 2. Blog posting – As article marketing this very important to, but blogging it time consuming too, another 30 minutes, but after you wrote you post you are not done, you also have to research blogs, see what others are doing, what are they writing about, see where the wind is blowing, other blogers may come up with new ideas or discoveries for your business. Subscribe to different blogs and stay tuned. 3. Learning – You can never stop learning, read e-books, listen to audios and watch videos is a part of a business too, by learning you will earn more tools to help you grow you business 4. Advertising – Classified ads, it still works and it is need your time, after writing a few classified you need to submit them to websites, and you need to keep your ads fresh and eye catching. 5. Mingling – You need to show yourself in order to be seen, you have to go social, sign up with social networks, post constantly on forums and leave comments on blog you read, and even then you have to stand out in front of the others with unique and constant content. This is only a part of the things you have to do in order to have a successful online business, don't forget that in the long time you will have a downline to sponsor and list of costumers to support. To sum it up, running a successful business from home, may take only 30 minutes, but it's only 30 minutes here, and another 30 minutes there, and before you know it, you found yourself another full time job with a big advantage, you can do it from home, after work, and with the right time management you will do just fine, and you even have time to sleep.
