One is the company who wants sell the products, with minimum coast, and the other is a website who wants to sell the company's products – this is the affiliate. The company will offer this affiliate with tools to advertise her products and in return the affiliate will earn commission every time he will send a costumer to this company. The affiliate doesn't have to come up with a product; he is selling the company's products. The affiliate doesn't have to pay for a campaign, the company already provided him with the tools. The affiliate doesn't have to worry about shipping and handling or costumer support, the company is already doing it for him. Who can join Affiliate programs? Every one can become an affiliate, you don’t have to have a degree in business management or have a life time experience in selling. How much you want to earn, see how much commission the program is paying and what kind of support they are offering to you. *See if this affiliate program is genuine, is real or is it a scam, search it and ask around, DO NOT join until you are sure and confidant with the program How do I get paid? Each and every affiliate program has it own terms and conditions for payment; usually there is a minimum amount you have to reach before being entitled for payment. After you achieved the minimum amount, you can either get your payment with PayPal, a check or company credit card, and you can buy products with the money you earned. Some affiliate programs will pay once a week, some once in two weeks or once a month. Can I join now? With most affiliate programs you can start immediately, the minute you joined the program and confirmed your registration. Some of the companies, are asking for your Social Security Number for Taxes, and none-USA residents will be asked for their details too, also for Taxes, but most companies wont ask for it, and it will be you responsibility to handle you taxes by yourself.
