You probably hear these words over and over again, to be successful and make money online you must drive traffic to your website, and not just traffic, quality traffic, it doesn't matter if thousands of people visit your website, if it's not targeted it is just traffic, and you may see the numbers going up, but you will generate zero sales, if the people that arriving to your website won't find what they are looking for then all your work was for nothing

When you are new to the internet and your website is new, it is like any other business, store or product on the market, this means, you are out there and you have this beautiful website, but nobody knows about it, nobody heard about it, so nobody comes to visit

Like any other new product or business offline and online, you must let people know about this beautiful website and you must let the search engines and the web directories know a bout this website too.

When a company launches a new product or opening a new store you will probably hear about all over the place, they will advertise their new product in any way they can, the most important thing is that they want you to know and you

DO know, thanks to their tactics, of course, they must have a great product otherwise it will fade away, but they got what they want – costumers, coming to their store to by their new product.

The first thing you have to do is let the search engines find you, Google is the number one search engine followed by Yahoo! and MSN, then the rest, so you want your site to be listed there. Do not worry, it takes time for your website to show up in the search engines, so you can help it by submitting your url link manually at the beginning.

The next thing you have to do is submit your link to web directories, putting your link in the right category will help people find you when they are searching for a specific topic.

The last thing you have to do is advertise. There are many different ways to advertise your website, and drive traffic to your website. it is important that your traffic will be targeted traffic, you want people to become your clients, and you want paying costumers to make money from your online business, if you don't have target traffic the conversion rate of your site will be smaller, sometimes even zero.

Once you complete those 3 steps you will see the traffic coming, and if you will do it right the traffic will flow, people will visit your website, those people will become your clients, paying costumers, that will help you make money online.

The bottom line is if you want to make money online you need people to visit you website, no visitors means no clients, and no clients means no sales and no money, so if you want to make money online you must have visitors to your website.
