I get this question a lot this days from my affiliates: "Do I need a website?" or "Can a website help me with my business?"
My question to them is always the same: YES
If you want to have a successful internet home business you need a website. It is known that internet marketers that have their own internet home business website are more successful then those who don't. Now I am not saying that a website is the only way to go, but it the best way.
Sending prospects to a website is more effective than sending them to an affiliate link. Having an internet home business website is one more step forward success, it is more professional and it shows that you mean business.
You can do what ever you want with your own website and promote different programs and products.
You website will become your business card, people will recognize you from an image or a logo and it will be your trade mark, the more they see you and you and your website the more credibility you will earn.
If you have a blog, you can host it on your website, and it will add new, fresh content to your site.
The most important thing is that through your website your prospects and costumers can contact you and reach you whenever they need if you provide them a contact form or email on the website.

Do you want to work from home? Work and earn money from the work you do and get paid on a regular basis? I see in the classified ads a lot of ads that encourage you to start make money online, I used to search these ads too, because I wanted to work from home and earn money, but I also wanted to own my own business, and owning an internet home business was a lot cheaper than opening a "real" business with an office or a store. My internet home business is real too, I have an office, it is placed in my home, and I don't have to pay rent for it.
I see a lot of people offering the internet home business opportunities as a work from home opportunities, and they are surprised why they can't make it online.
The reason they can't make it, is because they are offering an internet home business opportunity, this requires some money investment, you need to buy a product, or pay a monthly fee, but the ad says work from home, people who are searching the work from home ads want to do some work and get paid, sometimes they will have to pay a onetime fee to purchase a software or tools, but that's it, after that all they have to do is work and wait for their check.
If it is internet home business opportunity that you are selling then, it is a different story, the words say it very clearly - Internet Home Business: this is first of all a business, an online business, using the internet, from the comfort of your own home.
Marketing the internet home business is harder, not everyone want to work so hard, and grow slowly, they are not searching to invest time and money and grow step by step, they need the money now, not tomorrow or next week or next month, but now.
The other way won't work too, if a person is looking to start a business, then they don't want to work from home and wait for a check.
The difference is that maybe a work from home opportunity will pay you now, and next month and the month after, but it always pay you the same amount, give or take, but internet home business is growing slowly and every month you will earn more then you did in the month before.

This last week was slow, so slow it was going backwards, this is the only way I can describe it, I wanted to share this bad week with you all, so you all know the working from home can be very hard in the beginning.

All those adds are true.
But this doesn't come to you over night,you don't just sign up and watch your account growing daily, to earn the money and gain the financial freedom you must work for it, and this work is hard, this is a business, and like any other business you need to treat it like one.
The hardest thing is finding time to invest in your business, most of the new internet business owner are working a full job and they have an internet home business as a second job, yes it is a second job, some invest one hour a day and other may invest 6 or even 8 hours a day, they will work on their internet business on every spare second they have.
Saying this, this is why sometimes you will find yourself "not in the mood to work", you are tired and unmotivated, you can't look at your computer, your brain feels like a raisin, so shrunk you cannot think any more.

This was my last week, I was so unmotivated, I worked so hard the week before and got no sign ups, no new commissions it was so frustrating and then I noticed I had 2 cancellations and 2 opt-outs, all I wanted to do is crawl in the a hole and sleep. Add to it that my husband had hard time at work, I had no mood to do any work.
But,
And this is a big BUT, I knew I had to do some work. My business is still new, and it is not automated like some other business out there, so I asked for some encouragement from my fellows internet business owners on the PipsPowerGroup Forum and I got so many responses.
Some of them are in the same situation like me, they had a bad week, or they are tiered and don't find the time for their business, but like me they want to succeed and they are doing all they can to do something.
They gave me some great tips, nothing new by the way, just a reminder to get me motivated again and back on track.
-take a day off -read a book -take a walk -go to the gym -go to sleep -the one i liked the most was from Jeff Casmer: "Most people wont work hard today this is where I get the competitive advantage....."
This is something to remember - every time you don't work someone else will beat you to the top.
I took one day off to clear my head, get some new ideas, sleep, gain some energy, then I woke up in the morning with a new affiliates notifications and some commission notification, it was encouraging and that gave me the energy I was looking for.
Now I back on track, I am working slowly, but I am working and I am building my business, so one day I will wake up and go straight to work on my internet home business and earn money working from home.
This is my story, it was a hard week but it ended and there is a new productive week coming in. I have my "to do" list ready and I am ready to work hard to make my dream come true.

You know what, I see newbies hearing that word SEO and they shiver. They are afraid from it and are trying to stay a way from it. from the other hand there are those "SEO experts" they even made it a profession.
Now, I agree, you can make very nice money from it, just because there are some people that are afraid from this SEO monster and don't even try it.
