How to Pick a Solid Network Marketing Company
posted by Tanny
There are 11 factors one should consider before joining a network marketing company. In my opinion there is no such thing as a perfect company. However using these 11 factors you can get off on the right foot. Here they are in no order of relevance.
1. Can you verify the company's profitability? Is it a publicly traded company or a private company. Keep in mind a with a publicly traded company the investors interest can be bit different than the what's best for the representative in the field.
2. How old is the company? This is something to take a serious look at because 85% of new network marketing company go out of business within the first year. That doesn't mean a ground floor network marketing company isn't worth a shot. But there is nothing worse than working hard and building a business only for it to vanish before your eyes. Due diligence is important.
3. How exclusive is the product? Does it have a patent? The more exclusive the better. While its not possible to market composites. How ever the only angle from a marketing point of view is price and most companies have a fixed price point. The competition is fierce. Niche markets are much easier to tackle.
4. Is your product related to Health, Wealth, or Love? These are the basic essentials every human being desires. Positioning yourself as an expert and, your product and service into the pathway of consumption of a prospect is by far the most powerful marketing technique on the face of the planet.
5. Can you become passionate about the product or service? Selling is a transfer of belief . Never choose a company solely on greed. Lead by example and be your own best customer. Remember the hair club commercials? I'm not only a customer, I'm the owner. I know that's funny but it builds credibility.
6. How good is the compensation plan? Comp plans in network marketing companies vary from 10% up to 75%. Remember never join a company for one sole reason. A good compensation plan is 30 to 40%.
7. Does the network marketing company have a good record and credible suppliers? A negative history can make it hard to do business. And you can't build a team and move products if the supplier can't supply your customers. Check to see if there listed with the Direct Seller Association and the Better Business Bureau.
8. Does the company have integrity?
9. Is the network marketing company's products in a saturated market? This can make it difficult to move product due to stiff competition.
10. Terms and Conditions? What do you own, what don't you own? This varies from company to company. Can you sell your position later or does the company own the down line?
11. Does the company have a marketing system in place that promote the product as well as the opportunity? Beware of opportunity only sites. Is there a info line that explain the benefit of the product?
