Online surveys have been around for as long as I can remember. A few years ago, however, problems began arising, where aspiring entrepreneurs began compiling lists of these paid survey companies and locking up the search results with lists for sale. That is to say, most people these days looking to earn money taking online surveys, are confronted with having to pay to get the lists of these companies. Now, instead of just doing a Google search for "paid surveys" and finding companies to pay you for your time, you are now buried with companies that want you to buy their "exclusive" lists of these companies.

These companies that pay you for your opinion are out there and yes, you can make some good part time money on the Internet with these companies. Now, I don't know of anyone who is purchasing yachts and luxury homes with the proceeds, but I can tell you that for a little effort on your part, you can treat your family to nice, small vacations, dinner out...and maybe even pay a few of your smaller bills.

Last summer, my 10 year old son made $427 in his spare time completing surveys online from one company that sought the opinions of children 10-12 years old! (this took only about one hour a week over the course of summer vacation).

The trick is to find a reputable company that really wants your business. These companies get paid by major retailers and manufacturers for consumer opinion. Some of these companies need people so bad, they are willing to pay you a sign-on bonus.
A legitimate online survey company will never ask you to pay them. They are in business to pay you for your opinion.
