You join the traffic exchange and surf for credits, each time you click on a link you earn some credits, and in return you use the credits to "pay" for others seeing your website.

The best way to get the most out of traffic exchange engines is to join some of them.

3 – Write articles and ezine newsletters and submit them to article directories and get a back link to your website. Most of the article directories let you put a link to your website in the resource box, where you can write something about yourself and your website. Send your ezines to your subscribers, on a regular basis.

4 – Get back links to your website, by posting in relevant forums, and commenting on others blog posts.

StumbleUpon is a hot social site that is becoming increasingly popular for blogs and sites to use as an avenue to dramatically increase potential traffic. It can prove to be an even higher success than Digg, especially of late.

As with other social community sites, it’s important to be an active user by making friends and contributing new discoveries. Here are a few other tactics that could increase your stumble popularity.

1) Use relevant tags

It’s important to pick the proper tags as it will increase relevant stumbles found either using the search function on their website or toolbar.

2) Choose the right topic

After choosing a site to submit, you are asked to pick a topic to submit it under. Picking the right topic can make or break your Stumble.
